B.Sc.(Hons), H.Dip.Ed., Dip.Th., Hons.BA.(Greek), M.A.(New Testament) Bruce grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. After completing his secondary schooling in Johannesburg, he studied science and education at Wits University. He worked for five years as a teacher and a scientist and then completed his initial theological education at the Baptist Theological College in Johannesburg. Bruce served in pastoral ministry from 1994 to 2006 in Centurion, Durban and Pretoria; he has been on the full time faculty of Sovereign Grace Theological Seminary since January 2007. He is married to Vehlia and they have four daughters. Bruce and his family relocated to Lusaka in October 2009 to continue with the work of SGTS after its relocation to Lusaka. Bruce is currently completing his PhD degree in New Testament studies through the North-West University.

B.Sc., M.Phil.(Practical Theology), M.A.(Pastoral Theology) Conrad Mbewe trained as a Mining Engineer at the University of Zambia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1984. After working in the Zambian copper mines for three years, he answered the call to the pastorate at Kabwata Baptist Church, Lusaka, in 1984. He obtained a Master of Philosophy in Practical Theology in 2005 and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology in 2007 from the Cape Town Baptist Theological Seminary in South Africa. Conrad is married to Felistas and together God has blessed them with three children. Conrad is presently studying for his PhD degree in Pastoral Theology with the Cape Town Baptist Seminary. His ministry is appreciated across the globe, and he preaches extensively both in Zambia and overseas. |

B.Sc.Ed., Dip.Th., M.Phil. Kennedy grew up in the Copperbelt province of Zambia, and upon completing secondary school and the then compulsory military training went on to study for a Bachelor of Science Degree with Education (Bsc Ed) at the University of Zambia, graduating in 1986. He worked as a secondary school teacher, teaching Chemistry and Physics in high school from then to 1998, and as a Science lecturer at a College on the Copperbelt (Luanshya) from 1999 to 2000. He then entered the Pastoral Ministry as a Missionary Pastor for Kabwata Baptist Church from 2000 to 2009, sent to plant a church in Kafue (about 45 km south of Lusaka). He was ordained as the first full time Pastor of this church in August, 2009. From 2001 to 2003 he studied for a Diploma in Theology with the Reformed Baptist Preachers College of Lusaka. Later he was incorparated as a part time lecturer at the same college. Kennedy and his wife Gladys have three children, two girls and one boy. He is currently serving as Pastor of Kafue Reformed Baptist Church.

B.S. (Education), M.Div., M.A. (Christian Thought), M.A. (History) David grew up in the state of Indiana in the U.S.A. He studied Education at Indiana University (Bloomington) in the late 70s and was licensed to teach French in secondary schools after graduation. After working for two years, he attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, Illinois) and prepared for pastoral ministry and college teaching. He specialized in Reformation Studies. In the late 80s he also did further work in the History of the Reformation at the University of Wisconsin (Madison) from which he received his third Master’s degree. He was a Fulbright scholar at the Université de Genève (Switzerland) in 1990-91. David and his wife, Terri, have four children, three girls and one boy. David was ordained in 1994 and worked as a pastor in Wisconsin and Indiana throughout the 90s, serving three churches. In 2001 they were appointed as career missionaries by Mission to the World and have lived in Zambia since 2002. David lectures in theology, Biblical studies and church history and serves as academic dean at the Theological College of Central Africa in Ndola and lectured part-time at the Preacher’s College of the Reformed Baptists from 2005-2009. |
